LucentMed's cervical brush features an ergonomic handle that provides a secure grip, allowing the clinician to accurately gauge the applied force and prevent injury to mucosal capillaries.
Throughout the procedure, the clinician's fingers touch only the very end of the handle.
From the moment the package is opened until the brush head is immersed in the preservation solution, the brush head remains completely protected from external environmental contaminants or secondary bacterial/DNA contamination from the clinician's fingers.
After sampling, the clinician holds the long handle to press the brush head firmly against the vial wall while rapidly agitating it (shaking/swirling) 10–15 times, ensuring the release of over 95% of the collected cells.
The long handle provides excellent leverage, making the elution process both efficient and thorough.

The Cervical Sampling Brush with Handle is strictly a single-use medical consumable; any form of reprocessing (cleaning, disinfection) or reuse is strictly prohibited.
If the packaging is found to be damaged, damp, or cracked, or if the sterilization expiration date has passed prior to opening, the device must be discarded immediately and must not be used for clinical sampling.
When collecting samples from the cervix, the brush must be rotated in a single, clockwise direction for 3–5 turns.
Counter-clockwise rotation or a back-and-forth sawing/scraping motion is strictly prohibited; such actions can easily puncture capillaries beneath the cervical mucosa, leading to bleeding. An excess of red blood cells on the slide can obscure the sample, directly resulting in laboratory test failure.
